Tucson, AZ Overview

Purchased along with the southern half of Arizona from Mexico over one hundred and fifty years ago, Tucson has come a long way.  What once was started as a small outpost completing railroads heading west, has blossomed into a full scale oasis in the middle of the picturesque Sonoran Desert.  Surrounded by mountains on three sides, the University of Arizona, and a large air force installation, Tucson boasts more than old-world charm and Mexican ancestry.
