NYC is more than just a big apple

CityConnexx staff and interns met hundreds of youth leaders and teens at the Nazarene Youth Congress held in Louisville KY, July 6-10. CityConnexx was chosen by Nazarene Youth International to host the interactive urban ministry and arts experience called "Urbanology". This unique creative area featured Stephen, a Denver urban kid who grew up in the hood on the Westside practicing his graffiti talents on walls and fences. But through a local Nazarene urban ministry and church Stephen accepted Christ and turned his life around. He now uses his talent to paint murals and intricate urban art which he calls "Godfitti". CityConnexx also hosted the special "meet & greet" for District Presidents with Toby Mac and the Dave Crowder Band. Many groups signed up at nyc for upcoming mission trips around the country to urban and Native American at-risk communities. Join us this coming year to meet guys like Stephen, hear their stories and add your story to the mix. You'll never forget your trip to the hood or the res.
