The week I have spent working with CityConnexx has been such a blessing. Being able to serve so many in different capacities has pushed the students and myself out of our comfort zone. I have truly been blessed through the people I have served and met. I met a woman who you could just tell was touched and moved by the Kingdom work done at her house. She wept when we asked to pray for her! Thank you CityConnexx for preparing this amazing mission trip for us! It was an amazing blessing!

Spending this week with CityConnexx has been amazing. We've spent time working with many inner city ministries that target the poor and homeless. Serving others is so rewarding spiritually, and the blessings you get in return are unmatched! God is definitely moving in powerful ways in this city. I love Denver (and Jesus)!!! OH and I am officially a facebook friend of Dean Cowles!!! woot woot!

Watching kids serve the lord has been amazing! Through service we have not only blessed so many people, but we have also been blessed ourselves along the way!

This week has been amazing. I was able to be stretched because of the many different ministry opportunities. The experience that impacted me the most would have to be handing out hygiene packs and sack lunches to the homeless population of Denver. I was blessed with being able to talk and pray over such wonderful people. The highlight of talking to the homeless was when a man named Tony decided to turn himself into the police. God was working through us in our mission trip this week and my experience will be never forgotten.

This week has been the most spiritual time of my life. I can't believe its almost over!! I've met some pretty amazing survivors...I'm just amazed that they keep going. I feel like I've gotten so close to God here, I will definitely take all this home with me to Salado.
