Oh my goodness, God is so good! He has provided so many opportunities to serve the poor this week, and I really think it has been more beneficial than me. Love Denver, love the people in Denver, and love serving in Denver! I will be back!

I have been so impressed with how well all our kids and campuses have worked together this week on our mission trip. It has been amazing to see kids come up and offer to do more than they were asked to do in the first place. The kids have definitely gone the extra mile.

Through this mission trip, I have come to realize that I do not need to be afraid to share God with strangers. When I was talking to strangers, they were understanding and they were not rude in any manner.

My week with CityConnexx has been a great one. As a sponsor and seeing kids stepping out of their elements and reaching out in faith is just as valuable as the people we have helped. Students loving on strangers, praying over the homeless, reaching out to the lost, working in the sun and being changed themselves has really impacted the community and myself. Service is life-changing and I feel that this week has accomplished that and so much more.

It has been amazing to watch our students be equipped and move out of their comfort zone. I have seen students step up and pray in difficult situations and I have seen God move and answer their prayers. CityConnexx has done an amazing job of encouraging and motivating our students to do work for the Kingdom!
