I really enjoyed the team from the Denver area: they worked hard and were a pleasure to work with. We were able to accomplish much because each member had a heart of service. "Jesus said to be great- you must be a servant." This team was great because they served well. God bless this group- Love ya and miss you all. 

This CityConnexx mission trip definitely had a spiritual impact on our group and meaningful relationships were built with the people we served. We learned so much about people that are in recovery and homeless, and about the need for Christ. 

My experience with CityConnexx and the mission trip as a whole was one that I will never forget. I have never been much of a rebel by any means, I am a safe, meek, servant. I try to prove my worth through making sure that everyone else is happy, but the week that I served in Denver I was a servant by being bold. This trip was life changing, I got out of my comfort zone, speaking and hugging and shaking hands with drug addicts that were barely coherent, and it was these people that served me, moved me while I was supposed to be doing that for them. Now I am going to continue to try to be bold and continue on with the lessons I learned on this mission trip. God bless this organization for making it all possible.

Because of CityConnexx I know now that urban ministry is my passion!! My life has been changed through this mission trip.

My favorite part of the whole week was just talking to the homeless! I met several different great and outgoing people! But my favorite person was a guy named Levi. He is a Native American and he has a great story- being an alcoholic and drug attic, he had also been ran over 5 different times. I just enjoyed speaking to him and praying with him.
