History of CityConnexx

While YouthPartnersNET (parent organization) provides leadership needs in America’s inner city and Native American communities, there remained an opportunity to better and more directly meet day to day practical needs. There was also an opportunity and tremendous benefit in connecting youth to youth.

In 2007 CityConnexx was started as a grassroots effort to meet the growing need to create relationship and collaboration between urban, suburban, rural and Native American communities. Through a wide variety of available services ranging from after school tutoring, sports camps, internships and providing volunteers to our embedded ministry partners, CityConnexx has helped train urban youth leaders and facilitate the start of many of these “best practices” programs.
