CCX Texas Mission Team: Making a Long-Term Impact!

The ultimate goal and mission of CityConnexx is to bridge the social gap and connect suburban groups with Urban and Native American ministries. We hope and encourage our Mission Teams to stay in touch and support the ministries where they serve on their short-term mission trip :: Short-term trip-- Long-Term Impact! 

Last summer, a group of 100 Texan students and leaders came to Denver and beautifully accomplished this. They served with numerous ministries, heard many stories, worked hard and upon arriving home in Amarillo, TX they decided to collect school supplies for a church/school where they served in Denver. (See the picture to the right of Mark Lopez, Westside Community Church in Denver with the box of school supplies).

It is incredible to see how God moves throughout the hearts of students who step outside of their comfort zone and sacrifice a week to serve.
