Adult Mission Trips

What does CityConnexx have to offer adults?

CityConnexx is an inner city and Native American focused missions organization. We are a 501C3 faith based organization based in Denver.

• We have mission trips ranging from 2 nights to 10 nights to over 30 cities throughout the US. Strictly USA focused.
• Our participants are middle school, high school and college students to adults. Most adults are part of a church adult ministry or as part of a community group with their families.
• Groups stay and have their meals at our ministry sites and serve the surrounding community during their outreach time.
• Included is lodging, meals, mission work supplies, daily devotional, daily journal and community orientation.
• Each mission trip is designed specifically for your group and what you would like to accomplish (theologically speaking). We never combine groups with other groups outside their own church.

Worth Noting

• Almost 45% of CityConnexx profits are returned to the ministry sites as fee for service, as well as our monthly donation program to provide year round support for their community youth programs.
• We also have an Urban Scholarship Fund to help send the inner city and Native American youth on mission trips to serve others. Some of these trips combine these groups with a host church group and they serve together.

Here is a typical itinerary

• Arrive Friday evening; dinner and orientation by CityConnexx and the ministry site leader. This provides some community information as well as the type of work each group will be doing and discussions about expectations.
• Saturday: Breakfast, devotional and journal time, community ministry work (sac lunch included), dinner, journal time and discussion about the day (debriefing). We may also have a guest speaker and discussion that speaks to some of the local issues (ex: teen runaway problem, working homeless...etc.,).
• Sunday; Breakfast, daily devotional, attend church service on site with the local community. Say goodbyes and head home.
  

Almost all adult and family 2 night trips are serving in your own "Jerusalem" or "Judea" at a local urban ministry site. It is amazing how many people don't know what exists in their own local area and the discussions that follow are tremendous.
