Mission Trip Cities
On campuses across America March Spring break is infamous as students search out for the wildest places to bing, party, and frankly make fools of themselves and others. Well, thankfully at CityConnexx we offer churches, colleges, youth groups a much more positive "alternative spring break" option.
Our staff and ministry partners are getting excited for all the spring break groups who are serving others instead of serving themselves at the bar. They won't be out drinking on the beach but rather feeding the homeless on the streets.
It's young people like this that make us proud...and it's our privilege to go with them. Our staff will be in Oklahoma City, Memphis, Denver, Albuquerque, Tucson. And I get to return to my roots in LA. Scottsdale Christian Academy is sending 200 students and teachers with us to five cities. 50 will be with me at LA First Church of the Nazarene. My father was associate pastor back in the late 60's. At that time it was a large mostly white wealthy middle class church. But as in many inner cities, the neighborhood changed and the crowd moved further out to
